Safeguarding Combat Sport Communities with British Wrestling
British Wrestling has been utilizing JustGo’s membership management system since 2018. As a contact combat sport, the NGB necessitates stringent governance and safeguarding measures.
One example is, in addition to holding the requisite coaching qualifications, coaches are required to hold up-to-date and valid first aid, safeguarding training, background check certification and active membership.
This challenge is addressed via a Digital Coach License – where all qualifications are consolidated into a singular scannable credential. Using this technology, the License is available only if everything remains valid. If not, it is invalidated and all relevant parties are notified accordingly.
These requirements are checked and updated in real-time, ensuring that British Wrestling maintains the safety of its sport and participants consistently.
