This October at JustGo we’re launching a brand new theming campaign where each month we will speak to the experts and create the most valuable and engaging insights possible to help you do your job even better than you already do it.

We’re in a unique position working with so many National Sports Governing Organisations around the globe and it’s through this Community that we are able to gain insights not readily available elsewhere.

It’s about time we started sharing some of that Community knowledge with you, so we’d love you to join us on this journey through sports governance, best practices, latest trends and time-saving initiatives, that we hope will support you with decision making and working practices going forward.

This October we kick off introducing our latest theme: Managing a safe and qualified community.

One of the most crucial aspects of keeping your organisation afloat is your safeguarding and compliance practices. Safeguarding is the practice of following a set of rules and guidelines (usually determined by Governmental bodies) to protect vulnerable members of your sports community.

This might include vetting and validating coaches, volunteers and officials regularly to ensure your organisation is as safe and qualified as possible.

As you open your doors to members of the public, including children and vulnerable people, it’s your responsibility to take measures to prevent any kind of injury, abuse, or distress and whilst this can be a daunting topic, there are certain practices you can introduce to simplify your understanding and management of this.

This October, we’ll be diving into the best safeguarding practices via blogs, case studies, interviews with sports industry professionals and we’ll be hosting webinars to help ensure that you’re on top of creating and maintaining a safe sporting experience for all.

Why is safeguarding important for your community?

Every single member of your community has the right and expects to be offered a safe sport environment. No matter a participants level, be it Professional or Recreational, their welfare should be of the highest priority for all organisations. Recent examples have shown that this has not always been the case, so it’s down to us as a collective to make sure we are doing everything in our power to manage a safe and qualified community.

Where does JustGo fit into this?

We recognise the significance of this responsibility on your shoulders as a governing organisation, and that’s why we want to share our communities’ knowledge to create a more open and understanding community for all to benefit from. We’ll be doing this through the insights of your peers, our community experts, and our partners who have a wealth of knowledge in this area.

This month-long festivity brings you essential tips-and-tricks, proven case studies and the opportunity to hear from the experts working with compliance on a daily basis.

Join us this October to level up your community’s safeguarding—and we’ll be with you every step of the way. Sign up to our emails to get notified of each event in real-time and make sure you get registered for our brand new webinar.
